Perspective from Canada

Lake Erie shares its border with the Canadian province of Ontario, as well as four U.S. states – Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York. Many nutrient stewardship strategies and water quality goals cross borders to benefit Lake Erie.

Ontario represents more than nine million acres of Canada’s most productive farmland. Nutrients for Life Canada developed an H2Know video to give students on either side of the lake a deeper perspective on how Canadian agriculture is working to protect water quality in Lake Erie.
